This is ACEBOTT's smart home kit: a wooden house with a fence, a sliding front door and a window, built on an ESP32 WiFi board. You mount each sensor and module on the house, wire it to the board and program what it does.
By the end, the house reads its own light, rain, motion, temperature and humidity, opens the door for the right keychain, and reports to your phone.
ACEBOTT's tutorial tells the build as a story. Dr. Lumi opens a wooden box and finds the drawings for Lumi's Smart Home, and you help him rebuild it, then go on the adventure.
It covers the computer side too, from adding the ESP32 board to the code editor to picking the right port.
Every module mounts on the house with screws.

No experience is assumed. ACEBOTT wrote the tutorial for beginners, and it covers the computer setup as well as the build: adding the ESP32 board to the code editor, choosing the right port, then the modules.
A computer with a USB port to program the board, a phone for the app, and six AA batteries to run the house away from the computer.
For phone control, yes. The board uses 2.4 GHz WiFi and shows the house's IP address on the LCD.
No. It's ACEBOTT's kit, and the Dr. Lumi story lives in ACEBOTT's own tutorial and app. It doesn't include one of our filmed courses.
